“DanNell Thompson is the Program Coordinator for LNESC KC Upward Bound. As the Program Coordinator, she handles the student recruitment and participation, maintains student records and information, coordinates tutoring, plans and implements events and activities. She has been a volunteer and chaperone for Lnesc-KC since 2020. Additionally, she was the Language Arts teacher for Summer Academy in 2022
DanNell previously worked at Gardner Edgerton High School as the Special Ed Para and Teachers Assistant. In this capacity she helped students with homework assignments, helped them study for SAT’s and recruited students for the Advanced Education Program.
DanNell is happiest when she playing with her four grand babies. Her hobbies include cooking, hanging with her husband and riding motorcycles.
