DanNell Thompson is the Center Director for LNESC-KC Upward Bound. As the Center Director, she handles all grants that the office receives which includes – Upward Bound, PUENTES, HLOP, Bayer Crop Science and Hills Pet Science. She oversees the employees, handles payroll, requisitions and APR’s for the Department of Education.
DanNell previously worked at Gardner Edgerton High School as the Special Ed Para and Teachers Assistant. In this capacity she helped students with homework assignments, helped them study for SAT’s and recruited students for the Advanced Education Program.
DanNell is happiest when she is playing with her four grand babies. Her hobbies include cooking, hanging with her husband and riding motorcycles.
